Metropolitan Technological University (UTEM) in Chile is one of the 26 higher education institutions of Chile with the mission to train professionals required by the country with the highest academic and operational capabilities in technologies. The main activity of the Research Program in Digital Radio Communications (PIRD) is the development of projects for basic and applied research related to telecommunication systems. Main research areas of this program are: energy, remote sensing, navigation, radio communications and ICT.
